Welcome to Urban, a technology platform that connects riders, driver-partners, and service providers through a mobile application.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Urban platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must not use the Urban platform or its services.

These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including riders, driver-partners, and any other individuals who access or use the Urban application.

By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the applicable laws.

2. Registration and Account Access

To use the Urban platform, you must create an account by providing a valid mobile phone number and any other information requested during registration.

Urban uses One-Time Password (OTP) authentication. A temporary verification code is sent via SMS to the registered phone number each time authentication is required.

The OTP:

• is personal and non-transferable;

• is valid only for a limited period of time;

• serves as the sole authentication method for accessing your account;

• must never be shared with anyone.

You are solely responsible for maintaining control of your mobile device and the phone number associated with your account.

If your phone number changes or you lose access to it, you must follow the procedures provided by Urban to update your account information.

Urban may require additional identity verification whenever necessary to protect the security of the platform and its users.

3. Eligibility

To use the Urban platform, you must:

• meet the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction;

• provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information;

• keep your account information current;

• maintain only one personal account unless otherwise authorized by Urban.

Urban reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Urban platform responsibly, lawfully, and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• create an account using false information;

• share your OTP verification codes;

• attempt to access another user's account;

• commit fraud or deceptive practices;

• use bots, scripts, or automated tools without authorization;

• interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform;

• use the platform for unlawful purposes;

• harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users;

• engage in fraudulent payment activities;

• violate the rights of any third party.

Violation of these rules may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of your account.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• keeping your phone number accurate and up to date;

• protecting your mobile device against unauthorized access;

• reviewing trip details before confirming a ride;

• treating driver-partners and other users respectfully;

• paying all applicable service fees and charges;

• promptly notifying Urban of any unauthorized access to your account.

6. Urban Services

Urban provides a technology platform that facilitates connections between riders and independent driver-partners.

Urban does not directly provide transportation services unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Driver-partners are independent contractors solely responsible for providing transportation services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Urban shall not be liable for:

• failures of mobile or internet networks;

• delays or failures in OTP delivery caused by third-party telecommunications providers;

• loss, theft, or unauthorized use of your mobile device;

• actions or omissions of third parties beyond Urban's control;

• indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or business opportunities arising from the use of the platform.

Urban's liability, where permitted by law, shall be limited to the technology services provided through the platform.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the services are provided, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.

Before initiating legal proceedings, users agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes through Urban's customer support channels.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the competent courts as determined by applicable law.
